Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
can police officers hold down a minor (17 years) and, without parents consent, force a cathiter in him because he would not pee in a cup when he got arrested. he was told he was being belligerent and must be on drugs. parents were called for permission and they didnt give it and the police did it anyway.

I assume this was done at a medical facility. I cannot imagine the police catheterizing someone. I'd have to see the medical records to determine what the doctors wrote with regard to what was going on.
