Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
my question is I am a beneficiary of a life insurance that my dad had, and we didnt know about it. My sister thinks she is entitled to half the money and no where in the will that it says that i have to give her some money and she is threatening to take me to court. can she do that

You are correct. Life insurance proceeds to to the beneficiary, not to the estate. Call my office if you'd lik discuss further.
