Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

Retrieving personal property.

I moved in & lived with a woman for approx. ten years. We bought a motorcycle together & I know I owe her for her half. I did work on her home, & also restored an antique auto for her & never received any thing for my work. When I moved in, I brought with me my collection of antique toys, & have purchased many more over the last ten years. She recently asked me to leave. I did so, without causing any problems, even giving back her house key. However, since I've left, she refuses to give me my antique toy collection. Do I have any legal rights in retrieving them?

Re: Retrieving personal property.

you would have to sue her for claim and delivery. This would allow a judge to order the things back to you. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to get started. I can help you in this matter. Tim Klisz
