Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
snowmobile trespassing on a tree plantation?
I have a tree plantation in northern MI and cought snowmobelers trespassing. They went within 20' of my no snowmobeling-tree plantation signs. The police caught them but did not isue a tiket and the prosocuting atterny threw out the case. They got nothing out of it. Is there eny chance of me taking them to court myself. The trees were not damaged this time but I lose hundreds of trees a year from snowmobelers and they need to get fined...What do I do.

You may well have a claim in theory, but you have no damages. A lawsuit would be futile.
The ATV's will soon take their place.
