Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
If an unstabble, disruptive tenant{room rental} leaves two days before his rent is due.His rent is due every 2 weeks, and indicates he is moving verbally, also indicates to me that i can do what i want with all his valueables because he has no way to take things,am i safe that i changed locks and stored his property in garage? He told me he threw my house key away, along with alot of his personal belongings. He was arrested the same night and "committed".I moved his things to the garage and changed my locks. does he have any right to try to come back?

Not if he doesn't have a lease and/or has paid rent. If he comes back, give him his stuff, have him sign that he received it. Otherwise, store it for a reasonable time before throwing it away.
