Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Michigan
i applied for my concealed permit and while filling out the documents i came across a question that asked if i had a misdemeanor wreckless driving on my record. i did not claim to have a wreckless driving because i had thought that my wreckless driving had been reduced to a careless driving. at the bottom of the document i signed it said to the best of my knowledge these answers are correct. to the best of my knowledge i didnt have a wreckless driving i had a careless driving and now i am being taken to court and threatened with years in prison and a big fine to pay. what can i do and what are my rights in this situation?

You should get a lawyer. If you made an honest mistake as yo say, then you are not guilty. But you evidently seem guilty to the prosecutor. The more you say, the more reason you may give her to think you did this on purpose. A lawyer can protect you far better than you can protect yourself. Given what is at stake, you should not try to handle this on your own.
Good luck.
