Legal Question in Construction Law in Michigan
a building fallin in
My mother and i were building a ceramic store on her land. we had a foundation poured. the building collapased because of not having enough venalation vents, and the floor rotted out. i am wondering if the company who put that foundation in is at fault, and if even if maybe the township could be at fault a bit, for passing it and allow us to continue to build? thank you

It sounds like somebody has a problem, but from the facts you present it is hard to tell who that might be. Sueing the Township is a problem as the goverment has immunity in almost all cases.
Your problem sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind speaking with you in this regard to further explore what happened.
