Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
I went to a brick and mortar retail furniture store, made a selection, was quoted a price, paid for the item in full via my credit card and was provided a receipt for my order and transaction. The following day, I received a call from the retail store and was told the price quote was incorrect and it could not be sold to me at this price. My answer was, this was not a quote but a completed transaction, receipt in hand... what recourse do I have to have the store honor the sale.

Have an attorney review your paperwork. If the furniture store sold the furniture for $1000, instead of $1200, it will be hard pressed to back out of the deal.
Unless the sale was so obviously a mistake...as in selling an entire room of furniture for $50 instead of $5,000.
A lot depends on the facts of your case...what the furniture consists of, what is the difference in the cost versus value, are there any other documents referenced in the transaction etc.
