Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Used Car
I bought a car from a used car lot. Within 2000 miles I have a major top end motor leak. Talked to the dealership and they stated they had all leak fixed which wasn't mentioned to me at time of sale. Are they liable for the cost of the repairs now since this was a problem that they had prior notice of?

Re: Used Car
It is likely that you purchased the car "as is". Please see my website www.lawrefs.com for an article on your situation by clicking on the consumer law link. If you have further questions subsequent to your review, please contact me via the website.

Re: Used Car
Not if you bought the car "as is" without any type of warranty from the dealer. Review your documents that you signed when you purchased the car.
