Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
car repossession
A friend of mine just got financed for a car recently. the company said they mishandled, entered wrong, or misunderstood their information. So they asked them to bring the car back. They found, after the paper work was signed and processed, that my friend may not have been qualified for the car. However, my friend can make all the payments and doesn't want to take the car back. Can they legally asked them to bring it back or repossess the car?

Re: car repossession
I believe that your friend is being treated illegally by the car dealership. It appears that the dealership is attempting a 'yo-yo' sale. I would need more information to be certain, but were I he, I would not take back the car.
He needs a good lawyer that undersatands this specialized area of consumer law.
If he would like to talk to me, he would need all papers he signed, and all papers relating to the sale. I can be reached at 248-851-2020.
