Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Car warranty not being honored
I recently had a motor installed a car it was $2500.00, half of this was labor to insall motor. I have a 30 day warranty on the motor. The motor died within the 30 days and the company is trying to make me pay labor again. It seems a bit off that in less than 30 days I would have to pay again since it was 2500 dollars and I have a warranty for the motor. I don't know what to do, I have tried to talk to the owner and he says that he is going to lost money if he installs it again for free. I think this is the real problem a mistake was made and the shop owner doesn't want to out any money. I don't want to be out anymore money.. what should i do? Do I have a case should i persue this legally?

Re: Car warranty not being honored
If the laborer won't pay then the manufacturer should. You should not have to pay for the labor again and having to do so is the manufacturer's fault, so says the laborer. Tell them you will sue them if they don't work it out, and then they'll have to pay attorney fees. I will be glad to represent you.
