Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan

New Car - Work before Purchase

I purchased a car 2/28. I received an invoice from the dealer service dept detailing brake work done on the car, in my name, before I brought the car home. Is there legal recourse as I expected full disclosure at the time of purchase?

Re: New Car - Work before Purchase

Typically, one would expect defects in the car to be disclosed and not necessarily work that has been done on the car. Furthermore, used cars are typically sold as is.

What would you like to happen? Do you have any damages / are the brakes in working order? Would the disclosure have prevented you from purchasing the car?
