Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
cell phone contract
I have a disputed charge for equipment on my cell phone bill. While it was being investigated, my service has been suspended even thought the representative said it wouldn't be. Can I cancel my contract without an early termination fee?

Re: cell phone contract
You could cancel your contract arguing that the company has breached their agreement with you. I do not know whether you would prevail.
You cannot control what the cell phone company does. They may charge you an early termination fee which you will have to dispute. You must put all disputes in writing. It may take a very long time to clear up the matter, the cell phone company may send the matter to collections and your credit may be affected.
