Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Consumer Law (Michigan)
I've purchased a parking permit through my university. I've been parking in the designated parking area for 1 month now. I was recently contacted by the parking office, they informed me that they accidently oversold the lot. They have demanded that I return my parking permit in exchange for another permit for a lot further away. Can they legally demand that I return my parking permit which I have already purchased?

No, that would be a breach of their contract with you. It is not your problem that they oversold the lot.
