disabilty unable work and pay creditor
if a person becomes disabaled and cannot pay credit cards what is their legal responsibility?

Yes. There is no exemption from paying your debts incurred prior to or after a disability has occurred, unless the disability is a mental incompetency which would make the contract voidable.
