Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
I enter a contact with a used appliance store, and signed a 3 month finance agreement. They asked for three posted dated checks. We had a disagreement and they cashed one of the checks that was dated 1/8/2011 on 11/30/2010 and changed the date to 11/8/2011 by adding a 1 to make the month 11. Is that legal? Can I fight the overdraft fees I received?

Is that legal? No.
Can you fight the overdraft fees? Yes, but not with the bank, you will need to sue the appliance store.
