Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Internet purchase problems
I would like to know what options I have when a seller doesn't deliver all the product purchased and refuses to provide a refund. I purchased vacation points from a seller and paid the dues for the 2006 year. The seller used the 2006 points and refuses to refund the dues ($405) that I paid. I do have ownership of the points for 2007 and future years. Does this constitute fraud? Would any leagal proceedings have to be done in Michigan, where the seller lives or in Ohio where I live?

If the seller is traveling or actively selling in Ohio, then you have jurisdiction of him here. You certainly can sue in Michigan, Ohio is a bit questionbale.
