Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Item in Pizza
I live in Illinois but reside most of the summer in Jones Michigan. On Friday we ordered a Pizza and picked it up. When I was biting into a piece there was a hunk of hard plastic about 1/8 inch thick and 1 inch long which had 2 razor sharp edges. I called right away and explained this to them. I told them I don't complain about things but to please check there kitchen because I had 3 children that were lucky not to get this piece because it cut the inside of my mouth. I didn't want it to hurt someone else. At first he was speechless. I offered to bring the plastic in on my way home and they said they weren't open. I said next Friday when going thru town I would show them. He offered me a free pizza. Do I have any legal action against this pizza place.

Re: Item in Pizza
What are your damages? If your injury required medical attention, you might have a claim. Otherwise, I'd take the free pizza.
