Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
I got married early September. The owner of the reception hall calculated the invoice incorrectly. She forgot to add in the room rental cost to the final total. We did not know she did this at the time. The room rental is listed on the invoice, but like I said, it did not get added to the total. She just emailed me over a month later, today, asking for us to pay for the room rental since she made a mistake. Do we need to pay this?

You agreed to pay and got the service, I think that is clear. If you refuse to pay, they could decide to sue you. This depends upon the amount at issue, whether it makes sense to sue. Good luck. kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
