Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
medical billing
If a medical bill is first sent out one year past the date of service is the patient obligated to pay. This would be a first billing, not from a collection agency. Is there a law regarding this?

Re: medical billing
The statute of limitations on a contract is 6 years from date of service or last payment. So they are within their right. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz
