Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan

Montana LLC

I live in Michigan. 2 years ago I bought a used 40' Country Coach RV in Ohio. I formed a Montana LLC for licensing and ownership purposes. Can this LLC be made so Michigan legally recognizes it? I understand that this States' interpretation is ''tax dodge'' instead of ''tax avoidance''. Am I really in violation of Michigan law?

Re: Montana LLC

What do you use the RV for - is it part of a business? I'm a little unclear what you are asking and why you need to have the RV in an LLC. It sounds like you might want to just open a Michigan LLC and register the vehicle in Michigan, to keep it simple.

Without further information, I can't really offer you much of an opinion.
