Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Moving Company
We went through a moving broker for our move from MI to MS. Unfortunately the Moving Co that showed up to our home was nothing what we were promised. There was a situation that occured where the worker's for the Moving Co stole some of the liquor we had packed, became intoxicated, assaulted our 23 yr old daughter, police were involved, worker was put in jail & truck was impounded. Our furniture finally arrived 3 wks later, most of the furniture damaged in one way or another. With trying to turn in claim to Moving Co they are only offering $441 for damaged furniture & nothing for everything else they put us through. We're very frustrated & feel we should also be reimbursed for the cost of our move as well.

Re: Moving Company
the bigger matter you have here is the assault of your daughter. Were the workers arrested? Is there an ongoing criminal investigation? I would be interested in discussing all these issues with you. Visit me at www.kliszlaw.com to chat. Tim Klisz
