Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Repair Service Agreement
I have a lawn mower that is under a repair agreement from Sears. They have come out three times in 2 months, and at least three times last year. They have been unable to repair the underlying problem. They come out and change out a part but the same problem occurs again and again. I have had this problem for at least two years. Can I sue them for failure to adequately repair the lawn mower. I have asked for a replacement but they refuse. What can I do?

Re: Repair Service Agreement
You can sue them by filing a complaint in district court. If the lawn mower is only worth a few hundred dollars, it may not pay to sue.
