returning wrap and unwrap coins to stores in M.
koger said that they do not take roll coins or unwrap coins. Is this right

I am assuming that you are referring to coins in coin sleeves. If you want to purchase food at Kroger and use wrapped or unwrapped coins to pay for your purchase, it does not seem that Kroger may refuse to accept cash tender for the purchase.
Cash is cash..and vendors are required to accept "legal tender" for all debts. You can also take these rolls of coins to a bank to exchange for paper money.
