Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
All Sales Final,really final??
Hi my question is this, My sister purchased $900 of furniture at a going out of business store and the cash receipt says all sales final, unfortunately when they delivered it, they could not get the furniture in her house (she just bought her first home) The owner of the store said she would not refund her money, and the store does not have any compatible furniture to what she already purchased.
My question is this does she have any legal action or can the owner do this?
Thank You

If the store has a final sale or no return policy, then yes. It is not the store's fault that your sister didn't check the measurements of all entryways to her house. Her best option is to take the furniture and sell it to someone else who can use it, even if she loses a few dollars. That's really her only option.
