Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan

Can a summons be posted on the door of my dad's house for me at an address that I never lived at? It is for a repossession from 2003. Haven't heard anything from them since they got the car back.

If they have reason to believe that you were living there, yes. However, you can challenge the service by filing a motion to set aside the judgment (if they obtained one) or by filing a motion to change venue to where you live or even to dismiss the case for lack of service.
