Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan

television ad

I went to a dermatologist and they took of the progress of my skin over a few months. I was asked to write a testimonial so that other patients that come in can read it. I was asked to sign a form which I was told was ONLY to give them permission to let other patients read my testimonial and look at my picture. I asked will my pictures be shown anywhere or to anyone else and I was told that they will only be shown inside of their office. Now 2 years later I see my photos on a television commercial and I was not informed that my photos would be used. I would like to know if I could get compensation because they lied and used my face.

Re: television ad

The release you signed will govern whether you can sue, and not what you were told about it. Did you save a copy? If not, we would have to get a copy. If you would like, feel free to contact me for more information.
