Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Today my little sister was shopping at Claires. When she went up to the register to pay the cashier handed her a broken necklace and asked her if she was going to pay for it. She asked why she would pay for it and the girl told her that she broke it and also stole something, and it had to be her because noone else was shopping in that area. When she told the cashier that she had noo clue what she was talking about the girl told her that if she gave it back she wouldnt be mad but if she didnt the police were being called. She then told us to go wait with the security guard for the police to get there. About 15 minutes later she walked out and handed us a $10 gift card (which we didnt take) and told us it was all a drill. Is that legal?

I would report it to the corporate headquarters, maybe the police. It sounds very strange to me. Tim Klisz. Kliszlaw.com
