Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Vehicle Lemon Law in Michigan
I purchased a 1998 Ford Taurus with an AS-IS warranty. Once I got it home i started noticing a lot of problems ie. electrical, safety and mechanical. Does the Lemon Law in Michigan provide me with a means to hold the Dealership responsible considering they have a ''Master Mechanic'' check each vehicle on the lot. Please Help me!

Re: Vehicle Lemon Law in Michigan
Lemon law applies to new passenger cars and trucks. It appears that you purchased a used vehicle, and lemon law would therefore not apply. If you purchased the vehicle "as is" you may be out of luck on implied state law warranties as well. A proper "as is" designation menas that you are taking the vehicle subject to any problems it may have now or in the future. www.lawgreg.com
