180 Days Past Due on Credit Card
If a credit card company (Bank of America) charges off my account, what can I expect as to
further collection. I intend to pay, but just can't at this time.

You can expect that the right to collect on the debt has been sold and a collection agency will be in touch with you. You will also see this as a negative on your credit report.
