Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
Bill payment
We owe approx $1200 to a company and they said they would only accept 4 payments of about $300 each. We don't have that. If we just sent them about $30/month can they do anything since we are making some kind of payment? Thanks.

They can still send you to collections, but it doesn't hurt to try and find out if that will keep them at bay.
