I browed money from my ex husband's grandparents 7 years ago he went to jail for his back child support and his mom is asking mr to sign off our she will take me to court on the $2900.00 i owed his grandparents is there really anything she can do about it

It's hard to tell from your one sentence exactly what you are trying to convey because you don't use punctuation. If you are saying you borrowed the money 7 years ago, the statute of limitations may have expired. It expires 6 years after your last payment or ify ou have somehow acknowledged the debt less than 6 years ago. The mom cannot bring suit on behalf of the grandparents unless she is a guardian or conservator of a grandparent or the grandparents.
