Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I have a checking account with my mother. It is jopint, but my name is listed first. I have a judgement against me and had my check guarnished. I just lost my job. Can they come after the checking account? My mother is the one that uses it

Yes, the creditor can garnish the joint checking account. If you can prove what funds have gone into it and out of it, however, they would be limited to whatever funds you could prove were yours.
