Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
Cingular Wireless Cell phone
I put a cell phone in my name 2 years ago for someone who was under 18 at the time. She made 3 payments and never made any after that. Now the bill is over $600. All the evidence i have on her is the statements that were billed to me. Do i have any grounds on suing her or no? And what else could she use against me to defend her case? i know it was my responsibility to cancel the phone or just to have the phone in my name, but i think she should be held liable for not making payments. Will the judge be on my side?

Re: Cingular Wireless Cell phone
You can try taking her to small claims, but against the phone company, the debt is yours.
