Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Collection Agency

I was sued by a debt collector. I file my answer with the court. Went to court. THe judge ordered us to got Mediation to resolve the debt. It wqas not resoloved to my liking and they are askign me to sign a consent judgement form. My Question is, before I sign this shoudl I continuew to contest the debt based on the information they provided to verify the debt is 2 different accounts numbers?

I would go to a local attorney and have them review the consent judgment and get their opinion. They might charge you a consult fee, but you could get a good idea of whether you should contest the debt further or not.
