Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

credit card trouble

My husband for 17yrs. of marriage took care of everything. He passed away in 2008. I'm just finding out that he was getting cards with my soc.sec. number without my knowledge. He applied to all his cards. I have never had a job. Am I held respondsable for this mess. I'm not sure what catergory this is.
