Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
credit rating
person sent in rent check. management company did not receive it. they sent letter to person about non-payment that she did not receive. management company goes to court. person pays court fees & rent as soon as she finds out. does this effect person's credit rating??

A person can always add an explanation onto their negative credit history on a credit report. Furthermore, communication can be made with the entity doing the credit reporting that they will be taken to court if truthful and accurate information is not reported.
