A creditor garnished my wages & took a payoff for the same account which is now an overpayment of $1500; what can i do to get it back?

Contact the creditor's attorney. Most are quite easy to deal with and they will reimburse you for the overpayment if there is one. Please remember that interest continues to accrue after a judgment so what you think may be due back to you may not be the correct amount. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
