debt responsibility
Am I responsible for the home loan my husband co-signed for his son if he dies? He co-signed for him (my step son) without my knowledge.

If he dies, any debts for which he is responsible must be paid out of the assets of his estate. He will not be responsible for his son's debt if his son does not default before he dies.
