Re: Discovery

So your case is pending in a Michigan court? What happens next depends on the court, and whether it is circuit court or district court. Some district courts don't allow discovery; some set their own schedule after a pretrial or scheduling conference.

If this is a debt collection case, and you have no defense, the Plaintiff will be able to obtain a judgment much quicker by filing a motion.

I would suggest you at least consult with an attorney and/or hire a lawyer to handle or resolve the case, depending on whether you have money to resolve, any valid defenses, or are going to pursue bankruptcy.

Thanks.
