Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Dismissal of charges

I was charged with failure to return rented property and accepted a delayed sentence. I received an order of acquittal/dismal and a motion to destroy fingerprints and arrest card. But I don't understand what dismissed with prejudice means. And once the information is destroyed what will happen if I apply for a job and they do a through background check including fingerprints?

Re: Dismissal of charges

Dismissed with prejudice means a new complaint cannot be filed against you for that matter.
