re: Dog Loan

Original question: Do the loan documents that you signed actually state that they can come and get the dog if you fail to pay?

Unfortunately when I did this loan I was very dumb at the time and I left the papers with the other person, so I do not know to much information about the paperwork. Under what circumstances would make it Ok for me to take the dog?

What you might find to be the best way to do this is to bring a small claims case against the person. Without proof that you have a right to take the dog without going to court, a small claims case may be the easiest way to do this.
