Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
garnishhment of wages
My employer has cornered me into voluntarily paying back an outstanding travel claim from 2003-2004 timeframe. I have a signed grieveance settlement that states as of 1/2005 I have a ''zero'' balance on any travel claims. What are my legal rights to prevent this. I work for the United States Postal Service.

Re: garnishhment of wages
Well you already signed it, so the damage is done. If you didn't want to sign it or were concerned about it, you should have informed your employer you wanted to discuss it with your attorney first.
