Garnishment
Hi, I would like to know if your salary can--name removed--garnished if you reside in the state of Texas where they have the Homested act. But work out of Michigan and became ill there. Thank you in advance for any information!

They cannot garnishee your wages if you're being paid through a Texas account. However, if you're being paid through a Michigan account, they can garnishee your wages there.
