Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Law suits against consumers

Can a credit card company sue a cardholder for deliquent payment? I received a letter from a lawyer stating that they are about to file a suit against me to make me pay the amount owed to the credit card company, in addition to any fees and court costs. Unless, I make arrangements or send the whole amount owed.

If you are an accountholder and not just an authorized use on the card, you may be liable. You can always be sued; whether you can be held liable is the real question. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please contact me at www.lawgreg.com.
