Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
lein on real property
A law firm representing my credit card company, which because of financial problems in the past two years I am a spuradic payer, is threatening to put a lein on my real property. Exactly what does this mean?

If the creditor has a judgment against you, it may be possible for the creditor to place a judgment lien against any real property you own.
