Letter of response for a summons and complaint
Yesterday I received a summons and complaint and I was told I need to submit a written letter of response. Can you tell me what this means and what I need to do? Someone told me that I will also need to go to court, but I do not see a court date anywhere on this document.

Re: Letter of response for a summons and complaint
You need to be more descriptive in your question. It is true that a response is required, but I cannot advise further due to the vagueness of the question. What is the nature of the issue involved in the summons and complaint, e.g., landlord-tenant, breach of contract, money owed.
