Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

License suspension

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was in a car accident in Dec. 2007 in Inkster, Michigan. Their were no fatalities or serious injuries, but at the time I was uninsured. I am now being threatened by the collection agency that farmers insurance sent my balance to. My question is: Does the subrrogation agency have the right to suspend my drivers license because of my not being in a formal payment agreement with them?
