Have you considered bankruptcy? You really need to. Whether or not a pension check itself can be garnished depends on the terms of your pension. A government pension generally cannot be garnished. Regardless, once any money is deposited into a bank account, a creditor can garnish your funds once they have a valid judgment. Have any lawsuits been filed and/or judgments obtained?
Again, you need to seriously consider bankruptcy. Please contact me if you'd like to retain me. If you have limited income, and a lot of bills, with no expected change, this is likely your best option, as your creditors will not show you any leniency, nor care if they leave you penniless for the bare necessities.
