magazine charges

magazine buckmasters says we ordered magazines over the phone,

did not, turned us over to a credit

dept. called they don't seem to stop, what can we do

You can stop the collector from calling you by sending a letter advising that you do not admit that you owe the money, you do not have the money to pay the debt, and that they have engaged in illegal collection practices. Further inform them that "per 15 USC 1692c" you are notifying them to cease further communication with you or anyone else in connection with you; and that further contact may provide cause for a lawsuit with penalties and fees under the Federal and Michigan Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts.
